Sugar beet Voxhod

Consistent Performance with 'Voskhod' Sugar Beet

Sugar beet seeds from the 'SoyuzSemSvekla' portfolio are engineered for farms focused on reliable production and logistical efficiency. The 'Voskhod' variety, developed in collaboration with the A.L. Mazlumov All-Russian Research Institute of Sugar Beet and Sugar, belongs to the Normal-Sugar (NZ) type. This makes it a versatile choice for commercial farming, providing a solid compromise between root weight and sucrose content.

Practical Field Application

Choosing 'Voskhod' is a strategic decision for agronomists looking to optimize their harvest schedule. Its physical characteristics, including root density and shape, make it highly suitable for industrial processing. Key scenarios for its application include:

• Cultivation on fertile soils where balanced nutrient management is employed.
• Streamlining harvest logistics: the variety features uniform root growth, reducing losses during mechanical harvesting.
• Ensuring stable sugar extraction rates, which remains a key metric for refinery yield and profit margins.

The breeding work led by experts like Vladimir Sukhorukikh has resulted in a variety that is resilient to standard seasonal fluctuations. When managed with proper plant population density, 'Voskhod' provides a predictable ripening cycle, which is essential for maximizing the efficiency of modern harvesting equipment and ensuring the crop meets the strict requirements of sugar plants.
