Sunflower First Bloom

Reliable variety for budget-conscious farming systems

«Pervystok» is a sunflower variety developed by the Institute of Oilseed Crops (NAAS). It is favored by agricultural producers who prioritize operational stability and cost-efficiency over expensive imported hybrids. As a classical variety, it displays strong adaptability to various Ukrainian soil and climatic conditions, serving as a reliable workhorse in a standard crop rotation.

Practical application and agronomic value

• Cost Optimization: The variety allows for the use of own-produced seeds for subsequent sowings, significantly lowering the cost per hectare. This is a critical factor for farmers aiming to improve profitability in variable climate zones.
• Classical Cultivation: Since this is not a herbicide-tolerant hybrid, it fits perfectly into traditional farming systems. Growers have the flexibility to select standard soil-applied or post-emergence herbicides based on the specific weed spectrum of their fields, avoiding the limitations of specific technology contracts.
• Harvesting Performance: The variety is characterized by even maturation and uniformity, which minimizes grain losses during mechanical harvesting. The medium-early ripening period helps optimize the machinery workflow during the peak season.

«Pervystok» is the preferred choice for those who value the reliability of tested domestic breeding. It withstands environmental stressors typical of the Ukrainian Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones, providing predictable yield performance even under moderate input management.
