Soybean Yasochka

Reliable soybean variety for efficient farming

The 'Yasochka' soybean variety, developed by the National Scientific Center 'Institute of Agriculture of the NAAS', is designed for farms that prioritize harvest technology and predictable yields. With a vegetation period of 105–110 days, this medium-early variety allows for flexible scheduling of field operations and provides enough time for post-harvest soil preparation for winter crops.

Designed for mechanized harvesting

From an agronomist's perspective, 'Yasochka' stands out due to its lower pod attachment height of 12–15 cm. This feature is crucial for minimizing harvest losses, as combine headers can operate closer to the soil surface to capture the maximum potential yield. The plant height of 90–105 cm ensures optimal stand density and robust competition against weeds during the early vegetative stages.

Chemical profile and disease resistance

For processors and exporters, 'Yasochka' offers a well-balanced grain composition: 40–42% protein content and 20–22% oil content, making it highly suitable for both animal feed production and oil extraction facilities. A key argument for choosing this variety is its inherent tolerance to a broad range of pathogens:

• High resistance to root rots and fusarium wilt, ensuring stable plant population even under excessive moisture conditions.
• Strong natural immunity to rust and septoria, which minimizes the need for extra fungicide applications.
• Excellent defense against various leaf spots, ensuring high grain quality until the end of the growth cycle.

Choosing 'Yasochka' is a pragmatic decision for farmers who rely on proven local breeding programs capable of adapting to diverse agro-climatic conditions.
