The soybean variety 'Fun' belongs to the very early maturity group and is distinguished by its high resistance to cold and frosts down to -5 °C, which allows for earlier sowing in all growing regions. Thanks to its short vegetation period and low response to day length, the variety is suitable for repeated summer sowings in southern regions after harvesting winter crops without significant loss of plant height. Plant heights range from 70 to 87 cm depending on the region, while the weight of 1000 seeds is 145 g. The protein content in the seeds reaches 40%, and oiliness — 23%, which makes this variety attractive for producing high-quality raw materials.

The 'Fun' variety was isolated from the F4 hybrid combination Slavia × ES Mentor and differs by increased cold resistance, drought resistance, and resistance to diseases including downy mildew, Fusarium, gray mold, and ascochyta. Under long day conditions, the variety demonstrates high yield, which at latitudes of Krasnodar is about 2.51 t/ha, and in the Samara region reaches 3.33 t/ha, thus surpassing the standards of other varieties. This makes 'Fun' a profitable choice for soybean-producing farms striving for stable and high yields.

The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia including Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Urals, West Siberia, and East Siberia. Its adaptability to different climatic conditions and resistance to unfavorable factors allow the effective use of 'Fun' in agricultural technologies aimed at obtaining a high-quality and highly productive product.
