The Windsor soybean variety belongs to the semi-determinate growth type and is characterized by vigorous early growth and early flowering. These features help reduce the risk of negative effects of high temperatures at the beginning of flowering, which contributes to a longer grain-filling period and the formation of high thousand-grain weight. The growing period of the variety is 115-120 days or approximately 2650 growing degree-days (CHU), making it suitable for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions.

Windsor exhibits high resistance to major soybean diseases, such as downy mildew, ascochytosis, bacterial blight, and septoria. Additionally, the variety is characterized by synchronized pod maturity, good resistance to cracking, and high tolerance to lodging, making it ideally suited for direct combine harvesting. The recommended seeding rate is 600-650 thousand seeds per hectare, with the optimal plant density at harvest time being 500-550 thousand per hectare.

The Windsor variety is recommended for sowing on various soil types, with earlier sowing dates preferred, taking into account the risk of late frost. Due to its agronomic traits and resistance to adverse factors, this variety demonstrates high yield and reliability in the main cultivation zones.
