Soya variety Yatranь is a grain type, recommended for cultivation in the Polissya, forest-steppe, and steppe zones. This mid-early variety is characterized by high adaptability to various climatic conditions, including drought, lodging, and shattering resistance. Plants reach an average height of 70 to 90 cm, have a semi-compact bush form, and feature a distinctive yellow-brown pubescence on stems and pods. Leaves are dark green with slight pubescence, which is one of the distinguishing traits of this variety. Yatranь has high yield potential of 3.0 to 4.0 tons per hectare at the recommended planting density of 600,000 to 650,000 plants per hectare. The 1000-seed mass varies from 150 to 170 grams, indicating large seeds. Protein content in the grain is 38-40%, and olein oil content is approximately 21.6%, making this variety medium-oleic and high-protein, especially valuable for grain use. The variety exhibits resistance to diseases, pests, and stress factors, ensuring stable yields under various cultivation conditions. Developed by the Selection and Genetics Institute of UAAN using individual selection methods, Yatranь has an indeterminate growth type and hypocotyl with anthocyanin. Due to its characteristics, this soybean variety is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and high-yield crops.
