Stingg sorghum is an early-maturing grain sorghum variety characterized by high yield and resistance to adverse conditions. It exhibits resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones. The average yield of this variety in these regions ranges from 4.57 to 5.91 tons per hectare, confirming its productivity under various climatic conditions.

The Stingg variety is distinguished by its high protein and starch content, making it valuable for grain production. In the Steppe zone, protein content reaches 11.5%, and starch content — 73.7%; in the Forest-Steppe zone, these figures are 9.6% and 74.7% respectively.
