Maize PR39A50

Consistent Grain Yield in Challenging Environments

Selecting the PR39A50 hybrid from Pioneer s.a. is a strategic choice for farming operations focused on high-quality grain production with minimized risk. Featuring flint-type grain, this hybrid offers excellent test weight and high output for industrial processing, making it a preferred choice for food-grade market applications.

Agronomic Advantages

The primary strength of this hybrid is its adaptability. With a 100–110 day maturity cycle, PR39A50 fits perfectly into intensive crop rotations, allowing for timely harvest and field preparation for winter crops. As a single-cross hybrid, it ensures high crop uniformity, synchronized flowering, and straightforward mechanical harvesting.

• Phytosanitary Reliability: Strong genetic resistance to loose smut and common smut significantly reduces the need for expensive fungicide applications, allowing farmers to focus resources on pest management.
• Cultivation Efficiency: The single-cross structure requires precise stand density management, enabling the plant to maximize soil potential even under moisture-limited conditions.

PR39A50 is best utilized in fields where predictable outcomes are required, specifically avoiding lodging or ear disease issues. It serves as a reliable workhorse for farms that prioritize high yield returns per hectare while adhering to strict agronomic timelines.
