Sorghum Altura

Efficient Harvesting and Field Management

For growers focusing on operational efficiency, 'Altura' sorghum offers a distinct advantage: a manageable height of 110-120 cm. This uniform stature minimizes harvest losses and ensures smooth header operation, significantly reducing equipment downtime. You can count on a steady, lodging-resistant crop that keeps your machinery running at optimal capacity from start to finish.

Economic Resilience Through Disease Resistance

Managing the bottom line starts with reducing input costs. 'Altura's' natural resistance to charcoal rot and bacteriosis significantly cuts down on the need for intensive fungicide spraying. By maintaining a clean field throughout the vegetative stage, you minimize your chemical expenses. Furthermore, the low tannin content makes this grain highly desirable in the market, eliminating the need for complex processing and ensuring high nutritional value for livestock feed.

Operational Flexibility

Think of 'Altura' as a multi-purpose asset. Whether you need grain for the market, high-quality silage, or hay, this hybrid performs consistently. Its adaptability allows you to pivot your strategy based on current market demands without worrying about the crop’s performance. It is a reliable, low-maintenance choice that simplifies your overall cropping strategy while delivering consistent yields.
