Golubivska 25 is an early-maturing sorghum (Sudan grass) variety characterized by a vegetative period of 95-110 days. The plant reaches a height of 170 to 240 cm, has slender stems, high bushiness, and is drought-tolerant. This variety is both multi-cut and tall, ensuring high yields of green mass and grain. The grain of Golubivska 25 has the highest field germination rate among other varieties, making it a reliable choice for planting.

Golubivska 25 is widely used for hay production, which dries quickly in bales within 2-4 days, significantly simplifying the forage harvesting process. The yield of green mass ranges from 35 to 60 tons per hectare, and grain yield ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 tons per hectare. The recommended seeding rate for hay is 50-100 kg/ha, and for grain production — 25-35 kg/ha. The variety is adapted for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe regions.

In addition, Golubivska 25 is used as a green manure crop, which helps enrich the soil with humus and nitrogen, improves its structure, and reduces salinity. The plant tolerates high temperatures up to +45 °C and exhibits resistance to diseases and lodging.
