Odessa 220 is a sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) sugar variety, registered in the state register in 1990. It was developed and approved for use by the Selection and Genetics Institute of the National Center for Seed Science and Variety Testing in Odessa in cooperation with the LLC "Scientific Production Seed Company "Agrosemtrans". The variety is intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Ural regions, indicating its adaptability to the climatic conditions of these areas.
Odessa 220 belongs to the grain-feeding crop group and is a first-generation hybrid with an average maturation period.
