Sort-defining traits. Variety with tooth-like (ssp.semidenta). Plant height 250-280 cm. Ear attachment height 90-95 cm. Leaf number 16-17. Ear length 25-26 cm. Row number of kernels 16-18. Grain yield 84-86%. Ear stalk red. 1000 kernels weight 280-290 g.
Biological features. Medium-early maturity group FAO 290. Growth period from emergence to full maturity 112-114 days. Initial growth rapid. Cold resistance high. Drought resistance high. Resistance to lodging high. Resistance to ear drooping high. Resistance to ear rot high. Resistance to stalk rot high. Resistance to corn borer high.
Agronomic traits. Potential grain yield 13.0-14.0 t/ha. Recommended planting density for Forest-steppe 60-62 thousand/ha and for Polissia 65-68 thousand/ha. Harvest moisture 19-23%. Potential green mass yield 46.0-48.0 t/ha. Dry matter content in green mass 32-35%. Protein content in grain 9.8-10.2%. Starch content 74.6%.
Hybrid seed production is conducted on sterile M-type basis according to full restoration scheme without panicle removal. Sterility of maternal form 99-100%. Optimal planting scheme of parental forms on hybridization plots 12:4, 6:2. Yield of conditioned seeds under high agronomic practices reaches 1.5-1.8 t/ha.
