Sea buckthorn «Taschanovskaya» is a fruit-producing plant variety belonging to the Ribes genus (sea buckthorn). The bush reaches a height of about 2–2.2 m and has a branching structure with a closed root system. The fruits are characterized by a light orange color, average weight of 0.5 to 0.6 grams, and a juicy, sour-sweet taste.
The yield of this variety is approximately 12–14 kg per tree, making it attractive for both home cultivation and commercial production. The fruits ripen at the end of summer – in August and September, after which they can be used immediately or stored for up to five days.
Sea buckthorn «Taschanovskaya» is distinguished by high frost resistance and disease resistance, as well as good drought tolerance. Thanks to these properties, the plant is easy to grow in various climatic conditions. The fruits are suitable for canning, making jams, jellies, compotes, and other food products, and can also be used as raw materials for the production of beverages and cosmetics.
For planting, a distance of about 3 m between bushes is recommended, and planting depth – from 50 cm to 1 m. The optimal sowing period is March–April or May, when the air temperature stabilizes above +10 °C. This approach ensures good plant adaptation and maximum yield.
