Description MOSCOW BEAUTY
Sea buckthorn «Moscow Beauty» is a compact medium-sized shrub, with a height of 2.0 to 2.5 m, with a relatively wide bush and a small number of thorns on upper shoots. Fruit bearing begins as early as the third year after planting, and with proper care the plant can yield about 17–20 kg of fruit from one bush. Berries of medium size (0.6–0.7 g) have a cylindrical or oval shape, rich orange color with a reddish spot at the base of the pedicel and a thin, elastic skin that easily peels off dry. The taste is sour-sweet, and the aroma is delicate, making the berries suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing into juices, compotes or preserves.

For full fruiting, a pair of plants is required – the female variety «Moscow Beauty» and a male pollinator (usually this is a compact sterile bush called «Gnom»). Such pairing ensures good pollination and increases yield. The plant is resistant to diseases, pests and drought: it is not afraid of dryness, but requires moderate watering and timely fertilization to achieve maximum output. Irrigation during the growing period is 2–3 kg/week, and fertilizers – nitrogen in spring and autumn, phosphorus in early summer.

Care of the bush includes regular pruning of dry branches and shaping of the bush to maintain a compact appearance and prevent growth above 2.5 m. With proper care, «Moscow Beauty» becomes not only a source of tasty berries, but also a decorative element of the garden thanks to the bright color of the fruit and the attractive structure of the bush. This plant is suitable both for private gardens and for small commercial plantings in a temperate climate.
