MOSCOW TRANSPARENCY

Hippophae 'Moscow Transparency' is a large fruiting shrub grown in Belarus and other countries. The fruits reach a mass of about 0.85 g, have an oval shape and a bright amber-orange color, shining in the sun. The berry is dry and light, while the pulp is tender, transparent and fragrant, giving the fruit a sour-sweet taste.

The variety belongs to medium-late ones, with ripening in mid-August (Aug 15–20). It is distinguished by high yield – more than 1.5 kg/m² and can yield up to 14 kg of berries on a six-year-old bush. The fruits contain up to 132 mg% of vitamin C, which makes them a valuable source of antioxidants.

'Moscow Transparency' is frost-hardy, disease-resistant and grows fast, reaching a height of up to 250 cm. Thanks to good transportability of the crop, this variety is widely used in agriculture for fruit collection.
