The PARADE variety is a first-generation hybrid obtained by crossing the 'Red Fakel' sea buckthorn with seedling No. 104. This is a universal product suitable for both home cultivation and commercial production: it is easy to cultivate, propagate, freeze, and process into oil, juices, or fresh berries.
The medium-sized tree reaches 2.5–3.5 m. The bush is slightly spreading, with thin straight shoots; the crown is dense and compact. The fruits are oval-shaped, medium-sized, orange-red in color, weighing slightly more than 0.7 g. The skin is hard and relatively thick, ensuring good preservation during transportation and storage.
The fruit flavor combines sour-sweet notes with a rich aroma; the berries are suitable for both fresh consumption and freezing. The variety differs in high yield – up to 14–15 kg of fruits can be gathered from one tree, as well as resistance to diseases, pests, and winter hardiness. The ripening period is in late July–early August, making it one of the earliest sea buckthorn varieties.
