Sea buckthorn ALEY

Working with the "Aley" sea buckthorn

Working with the "Aley" variety from FANTSA, you immediately notice its reliability in the garden. Unlike many sensitive breeding forms, this variety demonstrates remarkable resistance to common berry diseases. In our conditions, fusarium and scab, which often destroy harvests in neighboring plots, steer clear of this shrub.

Appearance and Cultivation

The plant has pronounced decorative characteristics. Its dense crown and rich leaf color make it an excellent choice for landscaping, even if your primary goal is harvesting berries. In terms of care, "Aley" is undemanding: standard pruning and timely watering are all it needs for consistent yields. The plant holds its shape well and doesn't sag under the weight of the harvest, which makes picking easier — the berries remain clean and accessible for manual collection or using a rake.

Why choose this variety:

• High natural resistance to key fungal diseases (scab, fusarium).
• Aesthetic habit, making it suitable for landscape design projects.
• Consistent production without the need for complex agrotechnical support.
• Proven breeding from FANTSA, ensuring predictable results at planting.

If you are looking for a crop that combines the health benefits of vitamin-rich berries with the beauty of an ornamental shrub, "Aley" is an optimal choice. This is one of those rare cases where the plant doesn't require daily supervision, allowing you to focus on other farm tasks.
