Ryegrass VIALENT

A Universal Athlete Among Grasses

The «Fialent» ryegrass is a Russian-bred variety developed by experts at the A.G. Lorch Federal Potato Research Center. Unlike highly specialized lawn mixtures, this variety demonstrates remarkable adaptability, meeting the needs of both livestock farmers and owners of landscaping projects or sports facilities.

Strengths

• Recovery Speed: A high growth rate after mowing makes «Fialent» an ideal candidate for high-traffic areas.
• Versatility: The variety successfully serves as a dense turf for sports grounds while remaining a valuable forage crop.
• Adaptability: Its breeding origin ensures resistance to climate stresses typical of the region, distinguishing it from more fragile imported varieties.

Who Should Choose This?

«Fialent» is optimal for farms looking to obtain high-quality green mass from pastures, as well as for companies maintaining public or private sports surfaces. Its value lies in its balance: it does not require the elite care typical of purely decorative varieties, yet it forms a dense sod capable of withstanding heavy mechanical stress.

Points to Consider

Like any ryegrass, the variety requires consistent moisture. During extreme droughts without irrigation, tillering intensity may decrease. This is a "workhorse" variety that requires proper fertilization to maintain the density for which professionals value it.
