Ryegrass Dzhivet

Danish excellence for a perfect turf

The perennial ryegrass variety "Givet" from the world market leader, the Danish company DLF, is a breeding milestone focused on professional lawn creation. Unlike forage varieties, "Givet" was developed with a strong emphasis on aesthetics and durability, making it the preferred choice for those seeking a balance between dense turf and rapid recovery.

Key advantages

• Fast establishment: Like most ryegrass varieties from DLF, "Givet" demonstrates high germination energy, which is critical for quickly creating a "green carpet" in high-traffic areas.
• Density and color: The variety forms a thick, deep-green turf resistant to foot traffic, making it ideal for sports fields, park areas, and private residential properties.
• Adaptability: Danish breeding is renowned for its resilience to the moderate climate stresses typical of regions with variable humidity.

Points to consider

Despite its high versatility, "Givet" is a classic ryegrass. It requires high-quality regular watering and systematic mowing. Its main strength is its aggressive growth, which requires the owner to be ready for frequent mowing during the active growing season. In terms of application, this variety is optimal for creating mixtures where it is necessary to quickly fill in gaps or increase the overall wear resistance of the lawn.
