Description Kvarta
Oat variety "Quart" is a high-yielding, drought-resistant, and winter-hardy type developed using complex hybrid synthetic populations. It features a yield of 8–12 t/ha of dry matter on dry meadows (medium density) and 550 kg/ha of seeds. In the first cut, crude protein content reaches up to 18% and water-soluble carbohydrates reach 11.2%. The variety is resistant to pests and diseases, suitable for pasture use on various soil types, grows well on dry meadows. When used for lawns, it is characterized by longevity and good quality of the grass carpet.

Lolium perenne is a perennial grass culture, often used as lawn grass. Seeds are sold in 1 kg packages and are intended for sowing in October or in spring (April). The sowing rate is 8–10 kg/ha (800–1000 g/cent), with a yield reaching 2024 t. The culture quickly develops a powerful root system in the upper soil layers, which helps suppress weeds and reduces erosion. Lolium perenne tolerates frequent mowing well – after each cut, new stems grow short but strong, forming an even lawn.

Key characteristics: yield 2024 t/ha, height up to 1 m, vegetation period 50–60 days, seed purity 92%, germination 96%. The culture is resistant to cold, frost, flooding, and drought, does not require a complex soil composition (suitable even on sandy soils) and has a decorative appearance. Lawn care is simple: periodic watering, mowing, and trimming several times a year. Diseases and pests are typical for grasses – fungal diseases, powdery mildew, caterpillars, and aphids; with proper care, they usually do not appear.
