Ryegrass is a perennial cereal crop that stands out for its bright, juicy green color and high resistance. Thanks to the strong root system and the ability to quickly recover after mowing, trampling or being eaten by animals, it is perfect both for decorative landscaping and as forage grass.

The culture is widely used in lawn mixtures and on individual areas: road verges, adjoining territories, parks, and sports grounds. The height of the growing plant ranges from 0.7 to 1.0 meters, and the leaves have a rich green color with a bluish tint. Ryegrass quickly gains density of grass cover, which makes it resistant to loads and increases the aesthetic appeal of lawns.

The nutritional value of ryegrass is high: there are about 21 feed units in 1 centner of green mass, and up to 50 in hay. The yield of green mass per hectare reaches approximately 400 centners, and hay – up to 100. In the second and third years, the yield can increase due to "oatability" – the growth of lateral shoots after each mowing. These properties make ryegrass in demand both in agriculture and landscaping.
