Ryegrass Melyump

German Excellence in Grass Seed Technology

Melyump, a premium ryegrass variety developed by Feldsaaten Freudenberger GmbH&Co.KG, represents the pinnacle of German forage and turf genetics. Standing at a height of 70–100 cm, this vigorous cultivar is engineered for high performance in diverse environments, bridging the gap between professional turf management and sustainable agricultural feed production.

Versatility for Sports and Agriculture

The strength of Melyump lies in its dual-purpose nature. The breeding focus at Feldsaaten Freudenberger was centered on rapid regeneration and structural integrity, making this variety a staple in both the sports turf industry and the fodder market.

• Sports and Turf Applications: Melyump is highly valued for its ability to form a dense, resilient sod capable of withstanding heavy traffic and mechanical wear, making it an ideal choice for sports fields and high-traffic landscaping.
• Forage Production: As a high-biomass producer, it serves as a reliable component for hay and pasture, providing high-quality nutritional value for livestock.

By integrating Melyump into your operations, you benefit from decades of German breeding expertise. Whether you are aiming for a championship-grade turf or a productive forage cycle, this variety offers the stability, consistency, and resilience required by modern professional standards.
