Flying A is a diploid annual ryegrass variety intended primarily as a forage grass. It is characterized by high yield and excellent forage quality: rapid rooting, fast growth, and a strong root system ensure drought and trampling resistance.
The variety features a vibrant, juicy green shade and good sward density, making it suitable for use in lawn mixes. Thanks to its high endurance and ability to quickly recover after mowing, Flying A can be mowed 2-3 times per season without loss of quality.
Flying A ryegrass also performs cover crop functions: it enriches the soil with organic matter, improving its structure and fertility. This makes it a valuable component in systems for multiple land use for forage production and greening.
