Landscape

The wheat variety "Landscape" is a high-yield, universal variety developed by individual selection from the third generation of hybrid combinations. It belongs to the erythrospermum type and is characterized by a semi-erect plant with glossy, light-green stems and ears, as well as large, bright green leaves without waxy coating. The ear is cylindrical, 8–9 cm long, medium density, with red, large, egg-shaped kernels weighing approximately 48.6 g per 1000 kernels. Plant height is 80–90 cm; the variety is medium-maturing, ripening in 290–295 days.

"Landscape" exhibits high winter hardiness, exceeding average levels, and resistance to wilting, septoria, Fusarium ear rot, lodging, and kernel shattering, as well as pre-harvest sprouting. The variety responds well to mineral fertilizer application and tolerates high doses of mineral nutrition, promoting high yields. Yield varies from 9.75 to 10.8 t/ha depending on growing conditions.

In terms of quality, the grain fully meets the requirements for premium wheat. Protein content reaches 14%, gluten content — 32%. Flour from this variety has excellent baking properties, flour strength of 320 units, and loaf volume of 620 mm. Recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions of Ukraine at a seeding rate of 4.5–5.0 million seeds per hectare.
