Beauty of Lani

Beauty of Lani — winter soft wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) of early-maturing, intensive-use type. It is characterized by a short stem and is designed for cultivation on high agro-technological backgrounds, especially after black fallow with optimal doses of mineral fertilizers. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia zones of Ukraine and has been included in the State Register of Plant Varieties since 2016-2017.

This variety is distinguished by high yield and resistance to major diseases, as well as lodging resistance, confirmed by a rating of 9 points. The variety’s frost resistance is enhanced and amounts to 7.5 points. The wheat exhibits good drought tolerance and features high grain quality — strong wheat with a 1000-seed mass of approximately 42 grams. The potential yield reaches 11 tons per hectare, while average yields across various zones of Ukraine vary from 8.4 to 10.8 tons per hectare.
