Potato Kosen 95

Stable harvest with no surprises

When working with the "Kosen 95" potato variety from the Polissya Experimental Station named after O.M. Zasukhin, you quickly realize that the selection is focused on reliability rather than mere flashiness. This variety is the go-to for those who want a guaranteed yield without exhausting resources on battling major potato pests—specifically potato wart and golden nematode. In the field, "Kosen 95" behaves predictably and does not require complex agricultural techniques, which significantly simplifies operations on large planting areas.

Appearance and culinary quality

At harvest time, the commercial appearance of the tubers is immediately striking. The pink skin looks appealing, and the cream-colored flesh maintains its structure during cooking—this is a classic potato that doesn't turn into mash. It is convenient to handle: the shape of the tubers is uniform, facilitating mechanical harvesting and subsequent sorting.

• Disease resistance: Solid immunity to potato wart and golden nematode allows for savings on fungicides and optimizes crop rotation schedules.
• Storage: The variety is excellent for long-term storage; tubers maintain their shape well into spring without losing their taste.
• Agrotechnics: The variety is forgiving of typical care mistakes, responding to standard fertilization with a stable yield of marketable produce.

If you are looking for a "workhorse" that will deliver stable results year after year, "Kosen 95" from this Ukrainian producer is a logical choice. It requires less attention to preventative treatments, which reduces costs per hectare while providing a high-quality product output.
