Sores ST

Sunflower Sores ST is a high-yielding hybrid with high oil content in seeds, reaching up to 55%. This mid-early linoleic HTS-type hybrid has a vegetation period of about 74-78 days, allowing it to be effectively used in intensive cultivation technologies and even to obtain a second crop per year after winter crops. Seeds are dark gray in color and medium-sized, which ensures easy sowing and uniform plant development.

Hybrid Sores ST has high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including downy mildew and false powdery mildew, as well as tolerance to drought and frost. It is resistant to stem lodging, significantly reducing yield losses and facilitating harvesting. Thanks to these qualities, sunflower is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppes, forest-steppes, and lowlands, except for the Black Sea steppe.

Sores ST is recommended for intensive agriculture with optimized herbicide application, such as Fluence and Express, which allows effective weed control and increased yield. The yield potential of this hybrid is 2-3 tons per hectare, making it a profitable choice for farmers aiming for stable and high performance in oilseed production without significant additional costs.
