Description Kupava
Kupava — a mid-early maturing potato variety, developed in the Netherlands. Tubers have an oval shape and average weight ranging from 119 to 147 grams. The maturation period is from 70 to 90 days, allowing for harvest within relatively short timeframes. Starch content in tubers varies from 10.2% to 12.6%, ensuring good quality during thermal processing: tubers retain their shape well and do not easily break down.

The variety is characterized by high yield, reaching from 160 to 346 centners per hectare. It is drought-resistant, making it suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions. Additionally, Kupava shows resistance to several diseases, including late blight, phytophthora, cancer, cyst nematode, as well as mechanical damage, which simplifies care and enhances crop quality.

Due to its characteristics, the Kupava variety is suitable for various cooking methods and is widely used in dietary meals. Its resistance to adverse factors and high productivity make it an advantageous choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality potato harvest.
