Description KASHTAK
Potato variety KashaK is a medium-maturing table variety with medium-height plants and intermediate type, semi-upright. Leaves are medium-sized, green, flower bud is also medium-sized with weak anthocyanin pigmentation on inner side. Tubers are oval-shaped with small eyes, covered with red skin, and flesh is yellow. Marketable tuber mass ranges from 101 to 150 grams, making it suitable for various culinary purposes.

The variety is characterized by high yield, ranging from 182 to 302 centners per hectare, meeting the Lugovskaya standard and exceeding the Aspia standard by 77 centners. Maximum yield can reach 703 centners per hectare, significantly higher than benchmark varieties. Starch content in tubers is 18.0%, ensuring good and excellent taste. The variety's marketability reaches 85%, and storability is 95%, indicating its high quality and long-term storage capability.

Potato KashaK exhibits resistance to several diseases, including potato cancer pathogen and golden potato cyst nematode. According to the VNIIF's data, the variety is moderately susceptible to late blight on foliage and susceptible on tubers. Additionally, it is resistant to crinkly mosaic and leaf curl, enhancing its reliability and stable yield under various climatic conditions.
