Description CAPUCINE
The potato variety 'Capucine' is a medium-early table-type variety characterized by a medium-height stem-type plant with a semi-erect to spreading form. The leaves are of medium size, with intermediate to open shape, colored green or dark green. The flower corolla varies from medium to large size, with no or very weak anthocyanin pigmentation on the inner side of the corolla.

The tubers of the 'Capucine' variety have an elongated-oval shape with small eyes, with yellow skin and flesh. The mass of one marketable tuber ranges from 104 to 167 grams. The starch content in the tubers reaches 14.9%, ensuring good taste. The marketability of the variety is 79%, and storability reaches 95%, indicating high tuber preservation during storage.

The yield of the variety varies from 219 to 427 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching 464 centners per hectare, significantly higher than standard varieties. 'Capucine' is resistant to potato late blight and golden potato cyst nematode, and moderately susceptible to phytophthora on foliage. These characteristics make the variety reliable and promising for cultivation under various agroclimatic conditions.
