Description TRETYAKOVKA
Treyakovka potato is a medium-early table variety characterized by high commercial yield and good taste qualities. The plant is of medium to high stature, stem-type with semi-upright growth habit. Leaves are medium-sized, open, dark green, and the flower is large with moderate anthocyanin coloring on the inner side. Tubers are oval-round in shape with small eyes, covered with red skin, and light yellow flesh. Average commercial tuber mass ranges from 100 to 150 grams, with starch content reaching 15.8%, ensuring good flavor and excellent culinary qualities.

The Treyakovka variety has high yield, ranging from 207 to 328 centners per hectare, which is 21–53 centners higher than standard varieties such as Santé and Innovator. Maximum yield can reach 404 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding the yield of the variety Elizabeth. Tubers have a commercial grade of 85% and storability of 95%, indicating good product preservation during storage. These characteristics make Treyakovka an attractive choice for cultivation both in private households and commercial production.

Treyakovka potato exhibits resistance to several diseases, simplifying plant care and reducing the risk of yield loss. The variety is resistant to potato cancer pathogen and golden potato cyst nematode. According to the VNIIFitopatologii data, it is moderately susceptible to late blight on both foliage and tubers. Additionally, according to the breeder’s information, Treyakovka is resistant to crinkly and striped mosaic, as well as leaf curl. These features make the variety reliable and promising for cultivation under various conditions in the Central region.
