The Inova potato variety is a medium-early, high-yielding variety with a vegetation period of 90 to 115 days. The tubers are large, elongated-oval in shape, with small surface eyes and brown skin. The flesh is light yellow or light cream-colored, with a dry matter content of about 21.2% and starch content of 12%, ensuring excellent taste and good suitability for various culinary purposes, including traditional consumption, washing, packaging, and frying. The average weight of marketable tubers is 110-130 grams, and the yield per plant reaches 1.5-2 kg, corresponding to a market yield of 15-35 kg per 10 m². Plants of the Inova variety have medium to high, upright or semi-upright stems with large light-green leaves and white flowers. The variety exhibits good resistance to a range of diseases, including potato scab, nematodes, leaf late blight, and common scab. However, resistance to tuber late blight and certain viruses, such as PVYn, is low, requiring attention during cultivation. The variety is sensitive to metribuzin but exhibits resistance to mechanical damage and bruising, as well as moderate drought tolerance, allowing successful cultivation on various soil types, except very dry ones.
