The weight of the tubers ranges from 66 to 125 grams, and the starch content is between 12.2% and 15.2%. The tubers have high storability — about 92%, ensuring good storage and preservation of the harvest. Colette is suitable for cultivation on sunny sites and is valued for its high-quality product, especially for making French fries and chips. The yield of the Colette variety varies depending on growing conditions and can reach 166 to 217 centners per hectare under average yields and up to 290 centners per hectare under maximum yields. In some cases, the yield can reach 300-600 centners per hectare. The tuber marketability is within the range of 76-98%, indicating high quality and suitability for sale and processing. The Colette variety is resistant to potato late blight and golden potato cyst nematode, significantly reducing the risk of crop losses. However, it is susceptible to leaf and tuber phytophthora, requiring appropriate care and protection. The plants are semi-erect with green leaves and red-purple flowers. Due to its characteristics and versatility, the Colette variety is an excellent choice for both table use and industrial processing.
