Sicilia is a hybrid of sunflower of simple type, characterized by intensive growth and high yield. The vegetation period is 112-115 days, allowing for a stable harvest under various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 150-170 cm, have medium stem thickness and moderately deep root system, which contributes to their resilience and adaptability to different soil types. Recommended planting density varies depending on region, ranging from 45,000 to 60,000 plants per hectare.

The Sicilia hybrid is distinguished by high oil content — 47-50%, making it attractive for sunflower oil production. Seed shell content is 21-23%, ensuring effective oil separation from the shell.
