Potato Beo

Beo potato is an early-maturing variety, allowing harvest within a short period. Plants have a semi-erect growth habit, and flowers are white. The tubers are oval-round in shape with surface eyes, weighing between 93 and 170 grams each. The skin is smooth and yellow, while the flesh is light-yellow and does not darken upon cutting or during thermal processing, making this variety especially attractive for culinary use. The starch content in Beo potatoes ranges from 18-19%, providing excellent technological properties for chip production and other products. Due to this, the variety is widely used in the food industry and home cooking. Additionally, the potato has good storability, allowing long-term storage without quality loss. The Beo variety exhibits high resistance to various diseases and damage. It is resistant to nematodes, late blight, and rot, and also tolerates mechanical damage during harvest and transport. These characteristics make it a reliable choice for farmers and consumers seeking high-quality, flavorful potatoes with minimal losses.
