Bilina potato is a mid-season table variety with a maturation period of 80 to 95 days. Tubers have an oval-round shape, average weight ranges from 95 to 150 grams, and the number of tubers per plant ranges from 5 to 12. The skin is light yellow or light beige, smooth with barely noticeable eyes, flesh is uniform, may be white or dark yellow, depending on the specific variety. Starch content ranges from 12.1% to 18.5%, defining its culinary type from A/B to CD, allowing use in various cooking methods: boiling, baking, frying, soups, salads, and mashed potatoes.

The yield of Bilina variety is stable and relatively high, reaching 20 to 35 tons per hectare, with maximum yields up to 35.8 tons. The variety has good storability, approximately 95-96%, ensuring long-term storage without loss of quality. The potato is resistant to late blight and golden potato cyst nematode. Moderate resistance is noted to phytophthora affecting both foliage and tubers. Additionally, the variety is resistant to crinkly mosaic and leaf curling.
