Sweet pepper variety SKOMOROKH is an early or mid-late maturing variety suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is semi-branching, medium height — from 48 to 75 cm depending on growing conditions. Leaves are green, medium or large size, slightly wrinkled. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in late February with transplanting at the cotyledon stage, and planting in the ground — in late May. To form the bush, all side shoots and leaves should be removed up to the first fork, which promotes better fruit development and higher yield. Planting scheme is 40x60 cm.

Fruits of the SKOMOROKH variety have conical or prism-shaped form, with smooth and glossy surface. In technical ripeness, they are yellowish or green, while in biological ripeness they turn into rich red or golden-yellow hue. Fruit weight varies from 60 to 170 grams, wall thickness is 5 to 7 mm, making them juicy and succulent. Fruits are hanging, slightly oval or prism-shaped, with 2-3 locules. Fresh fruit flavor is delicate and aromatic, making them excellent for fresh consumption and culinary processing.

SKOMOROKH variety is widely used in culinary applications due to its versatile qualities. Fruits are suitable for making salads, vegetable ragouts, stuffing, canning, and baking. Yield is high and depends on growing conditions: under plastic coverings it reaches 4.1 to 8 kg per square meter, while in open ground — 2.8 to 4.9 kg/m². Additionally, the variety shows resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, enhancing its reliability and stable yield.
