Malachit

Malachit pepper is an early-maturing variety with large, spicy fruits, suitable for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground. The fruits are conical in shape with a pointed tip, 10-15 cm long and 2.5-3 cm in diameter, weighing 80-100 grams. In technical maturity, they are light green, and in biological maturity — red. The fruit walls are 4-5 mm thick, and the flesh has a fragrant spiciness, making this pepper an excellent seasoning that enhances flavor and adds a spicy note to various dishes.

Cultivation of the Malachit variety begins with sowing seeds for seedlings at the end of February, followed by transplanting when the cotyledons appear. Transplanting seedlings into the soil is carried out at the end of May. To form the bush, it is recommended to remove all side shoots and leaves up to the first fork, which promotes better development of main fruits. The optimal planting scheme is 30x40 cm, ensuring sufficient space for growth and fruiting.
