Pepper BOBİTA

Consistent Yields from Hungarian Breeding

The 'Bobita' variety from the Hungarian company Duna-r is a proven solution for those looking for a balance between low-maintenance requirements and high commercial yields. The originator, Jozsefne Rusko, designed this variety for versatility, ensuring productivity in both plastic greenhouses and open-field conditions.

Practical Field Application

The primary value of this variety lies in its adaptability. In open-field farming, 'Bobita' demonstrates significant resilience to temperature fluctuations, which is essential for achieving a marketable crop without excessive climate control costs. In protected growing environments, the variety allows for efficient rotation planning and predictable harvesting cycles.

• Market Standards: With a fruit weight of 120–160 grams, these peppers perfectly meet the requirements of retail chains seeking consistent sizing for pre-packaging.
• Visual Appeal: The vibrant orange color at full maturity makes this pepper an eye-catching product, helping it stand out against standard red or yellow varieties.
• Agronomic Care: The variety responds well to regular potassium supplementation during the fruit development stage, which helps achieve the target weight and deep coloration.

If your goal is to ensure stable supplies of fresh produce that handles transportation well and maintains shelf life, 'Bobita' is a reliable choice for your crop rotation. It is a practical tool for professionals who value predictable results and field performance over novelty.
