The «Satir» pepper is a selective development by the A.G. Lorch Federal Research Center for Potato, engineered for reliable performance in open-field cultivation. The primary design objective achieved by the originator is the development of a cuboid fruit with high tissue density, capable of maintaining market quality despite environmental fluctuations.

• Geometry and Yield: The classic cuboid shape ensures uniform density during logistics and facilitates mechanical processing.
• Maturation Dynamics: The technical maturity phase presents a deep dark-green color, evolving into a vibrant bright-red upon biological maturity. This transition allows for precise harvest scheduling based on market demand.
• Mass and Wall Thickness: Average fruit weight ranges from 120 to 160 grams. The pericarp (wall) thickness varies between 6 and 8 mm, meeting the premium standards for both the fresh produce market and industrial canning.

Selecting «Satir» for open-field operations is justified by its high adaptability to temperature gradients typical of Russian agricultural regions. Due to its optimized wall thickness, the fruits exhibit minimal cracking under high-humidity conditions, a critical factor for field cultivation.
