Description
Pharaoh — an early-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The period from seedling transplanting to fruit maturity is approximately 62-65 days. The plant is semi-spreading and of medium height, which facilitates care and harvest. The fruits have a drooping prismatic shape with a glossy surface. In technical ripeness, they are yellowish, while in biological ripeness, they turn bright red. Fruit weight ranges from 120 to 160 grams, with wall thickness of 7-8 mm, ensuring meatiness and juiciness.
The hybrid is characterized by high yield — from 6.2 to 7.5 kg per square meter, making it attractive for commercial cultivation. Pharaoh is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, enhancing its reliability and reducing the risk of yield loss. Recommended planting scheme — 60 cm by 40-50 cm, and sowing and transplanting dates allow harvesting from late July to August.
Pharaoh pepper fruits have excellent taste, making them versatile in use. They are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for processing and preservation. Their thick-walled, meaty fruits retain their qualities under various cooking methods, expanding the culinary applications of this variety.
