THICK BARON

Pepper variety "Thick Baron" is an early-maturing, large-fruited variety intended for cultivation both in open ground and protected soil. The period from germination to technical fruit maturity ranges from 90 to 100 days, allowing for a relatively quick harvest. The plant is medium-height, reaching 50 to 120 cm, robust and spreading, with a dense crown capable of bearing up to 15 fruits. Plants are resistant to pests and diseases, particularly tobacco mosaic virus, ensuring stable yields and reducing the need for intensive plant protection. Fruits of the "Thick Baron" pepper have prism-shaped or conical-cylindrical forms, weighing from 106 to 500 grams, with wall thickness ranging from 6 to 10 mm. At technical maturity, fruit color varies from light green to dark green, while at biological maturity they turn to a vibrant red. The flesh is thick and juicy, making this variety appealing for fresh consumption as well as for canning and processing. Vitamin C content in the fruits reaches 155.7 mg%, contributing to the high nutritional value of the vegetable. Yield depends on growing conditions and can range from 2.6 to 14 kg per square meter. To achieve maximum performance, it is recommended to plant 3-5 plants per 1 m², along with regular fertilization and watering during the vegetative period. Due to its characteristics, "Thick Baron" is suitable for various uses and cultivation methods across different climatic conditions, making it a versatile choice for gardeners and farmers.
