Description PYSKA
Pyska — a medium-maturing sweet pepper variety with a vegetation period of 111 to 125 days, intended for cultivation in open fields, greenhouses, and under plastic covers. The plant is low-growing and compact, reaching 30-35 cm in height, with sturdy bushes bearing 5 to 7 large fruits simultaneously. Fruits have a rounded-cuboid shape, smooth and fleshy, with wall thickness of 6-8 mm, ensuring juiciness and high flavor quality without bitterness. In technical maturity, fruits are light or dark green, while in biological maturity they are deep red, weighing 150-220 grams and measuring 10-12 cm.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 3-4 kg per square meter — and resistance to verticillium wilt and other diseases, making it adaptable to unfavorable growing conditions. Compact fruit placement at the top of the bush facilitates harvesting, and good transportability allows for marketing and storage. Pyska is suitable for dense planting and exhibits uniform fruit ripening.

Pyska pepper is versatile in use: it can be eaten fresh, used in salads, baking, stuffing, and preservation. Thanks to its juicy, sweet flesh with a rich aroma, this variety is an excellent choice for both home cultivation and commercial production. It is recommended to plant seedlings in February-March, followed by transplanting into the soil when the temperature is not lower than 15 °C in May-June.
