GOLDEN LAPOT

The Golden Lapot pepper variety is a mid-early sweet type with a maturation period from germination to technical ripeness of about 120-125 days. The plant is robust and sprawling, reaching a height of 75-85 cm and requires sturdy support during cultivation. The bushes are strong and resilient, making this variety suitable for growing both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses.

The fruits of this variety are large, fleshy, and juicy, with a cube-cylindrical shape and 2-4 chambers. Their weight ranges from 240 to 300 grams, and the wall thickness is 7-9 mm, ensuring density and good fruit storage. At technical ripeness, the fruits are light green, and at biological ripeness, they turn into a vibrant yellow-orange or golden-yellow color with a glossy surface. The fruit shape is often conical, sometimes flattened, measuring about 28 cm in length and 9 cm in width.

The variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to verticillium wilt, enhancing its reliability in cultivation. The fruits have a sweet and very juicy flavor, are resistant to damage and cracking, allowing them to be stored for a long time. Due to these qualities, Golden Lapot pepper is recommended for fresh consumption, home cooking, and various processing methods.
