The pepper variety PRIZE is one of the earliest maturing varieties, ripening in about 100 days from germination to technical maturity. This allows for a good harvest even in regions with moderate climates and short growing seasons. The plant is tall, reaching 1.6–1.8 meters in height under cover, with a semi-spreading growth habit and medium internode length. Due to moderate leafing and the absence of dense foliage, the fruits are not susceptible to sunburn, which is an important advantage when grown in open fields.

The fruits of the PRIZE pepper have a conical shape with 2–3 chambers, measuring 10–11 cm in length and weighing 100–120 grams. At technical maturity, they are yellow-green in color, and at biological maturity, they turn bright red and glossy. The wall thickness is 5–7 mm, ensuring juiciness and pleasant taste. The small size and shape of the fruits make this variety ideal for culinary use, especially for stuffing with various fillings.

The PRIZE variety can be grown both in open ground and under plastic covers. Seedling sowing is recommended in late February, transplanting in the cotyledon stage, and planting in the ground in late May. For plant shaping, all lateral shoots and leaves should be removed up to the first fork, which promotes better fruit development. The planting scheme is 40x80 cm. Yield under plastic covers reaches 5.1–5.2 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity of the variety.
