Ruslan

The 'Ruslan' pepper variety is an early-maturing sweet pepper with conical fruits weighing from 140 to 300 grams. The plant is medium-sized, reaching 60 to 80 cm in height, with a semi-spreading bush form. Fruits have a smooth, glossy surface and change color from yellowish in technical maturity to deep red at biological maturity. Thick-walled fruits have an excellent flavor and aroma, making them ideal for fresh consumption, canning, and preparing various home dishes. The 'Ruslan' variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to diseases, pests, drought, and heat, allowing successful cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground. Yield reaches up to 6.8 kg per square meter under plastic covers and about 5.5 kg in open ground. Fruits have good storability and transportability, facilitating their storage and transportation. Cultivation of 'Ruslan' pepper is recommended to start with seedlings. Seeds are sown in seed trays with a soil mixture in February, covered with plastic or glass, and placed in a warm location at 23-25°C for optimal germination. This approach ensures high-quality seedlings and a high yield. The variety is popular due to its combination of early maturity, high fruit quality, and resistance to adverse conditions.
