Pepper KORNEI

Stability and Performance for Growers

The «Korney» sweet pepper variety is the result of focused breeding efforts by Ooo Ssts Rostovskij, in partnership with the Federal Rostov Agricultural Research Center and Agrofirma Poisk. Developed to meet the demands of growers seeking reliability, this variety has established itself as a versatile choice for various climatic zones, demonstrating significant resistance to environmental fluctuations.

Agronomic Profile and Performance

The primary advantage of «Korney» is its adaptability to cultivation environments. It performs consistently well in open fields and protected conditions, such as greenhouses or polytunnels. The plant structure is compact yet productive, supporting heavy yields without compromising the plant's structural integrity.

• Fruit characteristics: Features a classic conical shape, highly valued for its uniform presentation and ease of processing.
• Ripening cycle: The fruit starts with a vibrant green color in its technical maturity, ripening into a deep, glossy red at biological maturity.
• Wall thickness: A robust wall thickness of 6-7 mm ensures excellent shelf life, high transportability, and a satisfying, crisp texture.

The market reputation of «Korney» is rooted in its predictability. Ooo Ssts Rostovskij has focused on creating a practical variety that does not require highly specialized or overly complex growing protocols, making it accessible for both small-scale gardeners and professional agricultural producers. The combination of structural density and consistent biological development makes this variety a preferred choice for those prioritizing proven performance over experimental results. By balancing strong genetics with straightforward cultivation requirements, «Korney» remains a steady presence in agricultural markets for those who value efficiency and quality.
