Description Snow White
The sweet pepper variety 'Snow White' is a medium-early Hungarian variety with a vegetation period of approximately 105-110 days from germination to technical maturity. The plant is compact and medium-height, reaching about 50 centimeters in height. The fruits are conical in shape with a smooth surface, up to 12 centimeters long and weighing between 70 and 150 grams. At technical maturity, they are white or ivory-colored, and at biological maturity, they turn bright red. The fruit wall thickness is 6-7 millimeters, the flesh is juicy, sweet, and free of bitterness, making them suitable for various culinary uses. The 'Snow White' variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses and covers. Sowing should be done in early March as seedlings, with transplanting at the cotyledon stage and planting in the ground at the end of May. For bush formation, side shoots and leaves should be removed up to the first fork, which promotes compactness and increases yield. With proper agronomy, yield can reach up to 7 kilograms per square meter. The fruits store well and withstand transportation, making this variety popular for both home use and commercial cultivation. 'Snow White' pepper is characterized by high yield and uniform fruiting, allowing for continuous vegetable production throughout the summer, and up to October in greenhouse conditions. The fruits of this variety are widely used fresh, as well as for canning, freezing, and other culinary processing methods. The seeds of this variety are treated with Tiram and packaged in sealed foil bags, ensuring their longevity and high germination rate.
