Lolita pepper is a medium-maturing sweet variety intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is semi-spreading, reaching a height of 50 to 60 cm, which ensures ease of care and harvest. Each plant bears 6 to 9 fruits, which are conical with a blunt tip, smooth surface, and slightly ribbed structure. In technical maturity, the fruits are light green, and in biological maturity, they turn to a vibrant red. Fruit weight ranges from 130 to 190 grams, with a wall thickness of 8–10 mm, giving them juiciness and firmness. The pepper has a strong aroma and pleasant taste. The Lolita variety is characterized by high yield—up to 6.3 kg per square meter, or 50–60 tons per hectare, making it attractive for large-scale production. One of its key advantages is resistance to verticillium wilt, as well as resilience to adverse weather conditions, ensuring stable and abundant fruiting until autumn. These qualities make it a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners seeking a high-quality and consistent harvest. The Lolita pepper is versatile in use: it is excellent for fresh consumption due to its flavor and aroma, as well as for processing, canning, and freezing. Thanks to the firm structure and juiciness of the fruits, the product retains its flavor and appearance after processing. This variety was developed by specialists of LLC "Agrofirm Sedek" and approved for use since 2007, confirming its proven effectiveness and popularity among vegetable growers.
