AGAPOVSKY

Pepper variety Agapovsky — an early-maturing and high-yielding variety developed in 1995. It is versatile and suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The maturation period ranges from 99 to 120 days from germination, allowing for an early harvest. Plants are compact, heavily branched, reaching 70-80 cm in height in greenhouses, which facilitates care and harvesting.

The peppers of Agapovsky have a prismatic shape with a not very smooth glossy skin. In technical maturity, they are dark green, and in biological maturity — rich red. Meaty fruits with a wall thickness of 7-8 mm have excellent taste and strong aroma. Average fruit weight varies from 115-120 g to 180-200 g depending on growing conditions. The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 10.3 kg per square meter under plastic cover and about 9.5 kg in open ground.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its high resistance to diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus and fruit rot. Agapovsky pepper contains a significant amount of ascorbic acid — about 210.6 mg per 100 g, making it a nutritious product. The variety is low-maintenance and well-adapted to various climatic conditions, allowing cultivation in different regions. For successful cultivation, transplanting is recommended.
