The Golden Taurus pepper variety is a medium-early, high-yielding sweet pepper variety, distinguished by its resistance to diseases and adverse weather conditions. Plants of this variety reach a height of 70-80 cm, have a strong and robust structure with good branching and dark green, wrinkled leaves. The plant forms 14-20 large fruits, which require support for proper development.
The fruits of the Golden Taurus have a cube-like shape with slight ridges and a bright orange color at biological maturity. Their weight ranges from 200 to 500 grams, and the thickness of their fleshy walls reaches 10 mm. The flesh is juicy, aromatic, and sweet, with a characteristic crispness, making this variety especially attractive for fresh consumption. The flesh contains a high amount of beneficial substances, including potassium, vitamin C, and carotene, which positively affect the cardiovascular and nervous systems.
The Golden Taurus variety is grown using seedlings and adapts well to low temperatures and stressful conditions. Technical maturity occurs approximately on day 115-120 after germination, and biological maturity — on day 125-135. Due to its flavor qualities and versatility, this pepper is widely used both for fresh consumption and for canning and home cooking.
